Honoring lives lost through bracelets

LA CROSSE (WKOW) -- Friends are honoring a father and son who were killed in La Crosse.

They've made bracelets to remember Paul and AJ Petras.

The two men were shot and killed inside a photography store in La Crosse on September 15.

The lime green and white bracelets read "Forever in Our Hearts."

"The bracelets are kind of a two way street. It's a great way to raise money for the memorial and just so people don't forget. It's just to honor them. You look at your wrist and you think of Paul and AJ. So I think it's a great way to honor them," says friend Jamie Arnold.

Money from the sales will eventually be used to build a commemorative bench at a local boat club.
