MADISON (WKOW) -- More than 65,000 people are
meeting in Madison this week for the 46th annual World Dairy Expo at the Alliant Energy Center.
The event began Tuesday. Event organizers are expecting people to come from more than 90 countries and learn about dairy farming technology, and ways to make their business more efficient.
The expo is expected to have a big economic impact on our state.
"We actually have an economic benefit of $50
million to the state of Wisconsin just in the business and transactions that
happen here are the World Dairy Expo," said World Dairy Expo Communications and Public Relations Manager Janet Keller.
