OAK CREEK (WKOW) -- Dignitaries from India visited the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek in a show of support after the mass shooting two months ago.
Several heads of state from India met with more than 100 members inside the temple Thursday to give their condolences to the victims' families and to assure the temple they have support from the international community.
"I would like to reassure the congregation not only of this Gurdwara but all the other Gurdwaras that the whole nation is behind you," said S.M. Krishna, India's Minister of External Affairs
The dignitaries met privately with family members who lost loved ones.
Temple members said it's comforting to know how many people care.
