
Republican vice presidential nominee, Paul Ryan, had a successful Saturday night in Milwaukee, raising $2.8 million according to the Romney campaign's state finance chair.
A ticket for the private event was going for $1,000 a person. Photos ran $10,000 per couple and dinner was $15,000 per couple. Host committee status was $50,000 per couple and to gain founding partner status it cost $100,000 per couple.
Ryan, a Janesville native, was last in Wisconsin for a September 15 fundraiser in Middleton.
He has another fundraiser scheduled for Sunday in Chicago and is spending some time at his home this weekend, according to his campaign.
Saturday, Ryan addressed 200 supporters for around 11 minutes in a seventh-floor ballroom at the Pfister Hotel.
The general election is exactly a month away, set for November 6.
