MADISON (WKOW) -- Authorities released the name of the bicyclist who died several days after colliding with a car Wednesday.

The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office says 21-year-old Tyler Knipfer died at UW Hospital over the weekend.

The biker and car collided at the intersection of Aberg Avenue and Huxley Street on Wednesday.

Madison police say Knipfer was trapped underneath the car. He had not been wearing a helmet and was flown by helicopter to UW Hospital.

An autopsy is scheduled to be completed on Monday.

It's still unclear whether or not the driver will face any charges. The investigation is ongoing.
