WAUSAU (WKOW) -- An apartment complex on the west side of Wausau is a total loss after having gone up in flames late Sunday night.
All of the residents of the Tamarack Heights complex got out safely when the fire started around 11 p.m.
Several area fire departments helped Wausau firefighters in battling the blaze, which quickly spread and caused the roof to collapse.
Several tenants have said they lost everything in the fire.
