MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say a man was arrested after breaking into a pickup truck Monday night on Madison's east side.
Madison police say they received a call around 11:00 p.m. after a man heard a loud bang outside of his home on Garnet Lane.
Officials say the man looked out his window and saw someone smashing the window of his neighbor's pickup truck. Police say the driver's side window was shattered.
After getting a good description of the suspect, officers were able to locate 18-year-old Brack Sago, who was walking in the area. When officers approached him, Sago dropped a brick and struggled with an officer before he was taken into custody.
Madison police say they recovered a GPS unit, a woman's bus pass, a cell phone, and many coins.
Police say they arrested Sago back on August 9 for stealing a bicycle from the garage of a home on the 5200 block of Raymond Road.
Sago was arrested on multiple charges including entry locked vehicle, criminal damage to property, theft, resisting/obstructing, bail jumping, casual possession of marijuana, and possession.
