GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- A little rain wasn't too much to keep some Green Bay Packers employees from building playgrounds Tuesday.
Two, in fact; both in Green Bay's John Muir Park.
It's part of the team's ongoing involvement to improve places for kids to play and get exercise.
"For all of us number one we want to help the community but I think it's good for everyone to realize you can really make a difference. it's important to our employees," said team president and CEO, Mark Murphy.
Besides the effort, the Packers also donated the new equipment for the playgrounds.
Also, as part of the team's community day, other Packers employees delivered more than 150 fleece blankets to local nursing homes on Tuesday.
