
MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department is searching for the suspect in a robbery on the city's west side Wednesday morning.
According to police, a man wearing a woman's wig robbed Guaranty Bank, located inside Copps at 261 Junction Road, around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. They say he passed a note to a teller and implied he had a gun, although no gun was seen.
Officials say the robber then ran into the Copps parking lot.
The robber is described as a white man in his 30s and about 5'8" to 5'9". He was last seen wearing a wig, dark leather coat, and jeans.
