BELLEFONTE, Penn. (WKOW)-- Newly released letters show that Jerry Sandusky blames his victims and law enforcement for his pedophile conviction.
Rather than apologizing for the act, or trying to make it right, both he and his wife are depicting the boys he sexually assaulted, as ungrateful, and called them liars. They even blamed their adopted son Matt, who now claims he was also molested.
In letters to the judge who would sentence to former Penn State football coach, the Sandusky and his wife portrayed themselves as victims of conspiracy. They blamed image conscious forces at Penn State, lying cops, ambitious prosecutors, and scandal-hungry news media.
The couple's letters were mentioned in court Tuesday, but not read out loud. They've now been made public.
The judge presiding over Sandusky's case, sentenced him to 30 to 60 years in prison.
