MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County Executive Joe Parisi is running for a second term.
Parisi made the announcement Thursday.
The former state representative took over as county executive in April 2011 after the resignation of Kathleen Falk, who then went on to run for governor.
Parisi said in his 18 months in the post he's strengthened services in the face of budget cuts and helped address community needs.
The Spring primary is February 19. The general election is April 2.
