2 injured after vehicle hits tree

MADISON (WKOW) – Two people are injured after a vehicle hit a tree early Saturday morning.

Madison Police said the accident occurred around 5:26 a.m. when a vehicle traveling westbound on 5900 block of Odana Road went off the roadway and hit a tree.

Authorities said two passengers in the vehicle were taken to the hospital with significant injuries.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing and the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital and being processed for a possible OMVWI.
