MADISON (WKOW) -- Hundreds braved Saturday morning's damp weather for Madison's annual Heart Walk at Warner Park.
The American Heart Association played host and WKOW's Greg Jeschke served as emcee. The walk raises money to fight heart disease, a fight the Biddick family knows first hand. Their son, Cooper, had heart surgery when he was three days old.
"This is something that has now become a big part of our lives because of him -- and it's something that we plan on doing every year from here on out," Nathan Biddick told 27 News about the walk. He also said Cooper's last check up went very well.
