Crews flush water mains in Fitchburg

People who live in the city of Fitchburg may notice your water looks a little different this week, but the city insists there will be no problems.

Utility crews will be flushing Fitchburg water mains, starting Monday. Fitchburg officials are reminding residents the water may appear discolored, but they say it's safe to drink and can be cleared by running the tap for a few minutes.

Water main flushing will continue in Fitchburg through Friday.
