Dog helps rescue brother

SANDWICH, MA (WKOW)-- Lassie would be proud of her retriever counterpart.

Two dogs in Massachusetts ran off, and were trapped in the woods for weeks. Baxter and Bailey were tied together with a double leash when they ran away. The owner put a post on facebook, asking for help to find the dogs.

A family who had seen the posts, found Baxter. Now, he had a job, finding his brother. Baxter was able to lead his owner down a path, where they found Bailey with his leash wrapped around a tree. Both dogs are now back home, and recovering just fine.
