4th victim of Sikh temple shooting out of hospital
MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A Sikh priest injured in the August shooting rampage at his temple in Oak Creek is out of the hospital and is now in a long-term care facility.
On Wednesday, Punjab Singh's family said in a statement that he still requires around-the-clock care. They say they've made arrangements to transfer him to a health facility where he'll receive that care.
Singh was among four people wounded and six people killed in the August 5th attack. Authorities say the gunman, Wade Michael Page, shot and killed himself after a shootout with police. The FBI says it may never know Page's motive.
Singh was shot in the head and remained in a coma for months. It wasn't immediately clear whether the 65-year-old had regained consciousness, as the family declined to discuss his condition.
