Madison police looking for suspect who attacked and robbed woman


MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department and Madison Area Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying suspect in a violent attack and robbery.

Madison police say on September 25 around 9:00 a.m., a 55-year-old woman was attacked and robbed while walking to Lapham Elementary School on Madison's east side.

Officials describe the suspect as a black man in his mid 50s, 5'05", 170 pounds, with a muscular build, mustache, and short hair.

Police say they are also looking for a black Lexus, with tinted windows and a dent to the right rear quarter panel.
