MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police say an early morning traffic stop on the city's west side led to the drunk driving arrest of a 30-year-old driver.
Police say an officer pulled over Souriyoung Kommavang for speeding around 12:30 a.m. Thursday. Officials say Kommavang was going about 55 mph on Maple Grove Road near East Pass. He didn't pull over right away and eventually stopped near the intersection of Stonebridge Drive and Cross Country Road.
According to police, Kommavang said he had been drinking at a bar downtown and was on his way home.
Kommavang was arrested for 4th offense Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence and Eluding an Officer.
