MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County authorities are investigating what caused an SUV to crash into a house Thursday morning.

The Dane County Sheriff's Department received a call of an SUV crashing into a house in the Town of Windsor just before noon on Thursday.

Deputies say it happened on the 4700 block of County Highway DM.

According to officials, 43-year-old Matthew P. Foges, of Morrisonville, lost control of his Jeep Grand Cherokee, and crashed into a house.

Deputies believe Foges suffered a medical event while driving. He sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. Mary's Hospital.

Officials say the crash caused significant damage to the structure, but an exact damage estimate is unknown at this time.
