Forum, web chat set for UW-Madison's chancellor search

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- The University of Wisconsin-Madison is asking for the public's input as they choose its next chancellor.

A committee put in place to find UW-Madison's next leader has already held two public forums to discuss the abilities of the next chancellor. The next forum is scheduled for Friday in Varsity Hall 3, Union South, 1308 W. Dayton St., 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

A web chat is also set for Tuesday, October 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Based on the previous forums, UW-Madison's ideal candidate should "focus on educational innovation, work with the business community, and be a strong steward of university resources."
