Bill Clinton speaks at UW-Green Bay

GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- Former President Bill Clinton spoke Friday at UW-Green Bay.

He encouraged voters to get to the polls early.

Early voting begins Monday in Wisconsin.

Clinton said the president faces a tough re-election race because many Americans are impatient about the economic recovery.

He urged voters to stay the course as more signs of a recovery sink in.

"I am telling you we are coming out of this. We are moving in the right direction. If you stay with this policy and you stay with this president and you elect Tammy Baldwin you will feel it."

Clinton said voters should judge the president on his final three years, when private sector job growth has made up for lost ground.
