UPDATE: 4 shooting victims expected to survive

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Hospital officials say the four surviving victims of Sunday's shooting at a Waukesha County salon are expected to survive.

Police have not released the names of any of the victims, but have said they are all women, ranging in ages from 22 to 40.

All four women were taken to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee with gunshot wounds to their extremities.

Doctors say one woman had emergency surgery Sunday afternoon and as of the evening remained in critical condition. Another victim was in satisfactory condition, and a third would undergo emergency surgery Sunday night, in stable condition. The fourth woman's injuries required no surgery.

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- The hospital where victims of the Brookfield shooting are being treated is no longer on lockdown.

Four people were brought to Froedtert Hospital after a gunman opened fire at a spa near Brookfield Square Mall. All four are being treated for non-critical injuries.

Since the shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. the hospital was put on lockdown. Authorities were concerned that the shooting may attempt to reach the victims at the hospital.

As of 4:25 p.m. on Sunday the hospital resumed normal operations. According to the Froedert, "We are certain that our environment is safe."
