BROOKFIELD (WKOW) – Members of the suburban Milwaukee Sikh Temple, where a gunman killed six people in August, are comforting family members of shooting victims at the spa in Brookfield.
According to WITI-TV, Gurmukh Singh said the police tape and numerous police vehicles at the scene "sent chills down my spine." Singh also said that members of the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek are volunteering with the Salvation Army at the site of a fatal spa shooting.
In August, Wade Michael Page fatally shot six people at the temple and wounded four others before killing himself.
Singh said, "It's really hard to describe what they're going through, having been in this situation before."
