Teen saves dad from heart attack

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- We're hearing from a teenager who saved his dad's life, just a week after he learned CPR.

Kyle Lees, 16, was watching TV in his family's Madison home on October 12 when he heard a thud. His father in the other room, was having a heart attack.

Kyle called 911, and dispatchers guided him through CPR.

"When I saw my dad on the ground, I didn't know what was happening because it just came out of the blue and I was really scared because I didn't know if he was going to die or not," says Kyle.

Kyle had learned some CPR techniques, just a week ago in gym class. He says his dad is recovering well from the heart attack.
