State senator says son attacked over political yard sign

WHITEWATER (WKOW) -- Republican state Senator Neil Kedzie says his son was attacked, and required hospitalization, after the younger Kedzie tried to stop two people from stealing a Romney/Ryan yard sign.

A Whitewater police spokesperson confirmed to 27 News that an investigation into an incident involving Sean Kedzie is ongoing, but declined further comment.

Sen. Kedzie (R-Elkhorn) provided a statement and photo of his son on Wispolitics.com.
