
ADAMS COUNTY (WKOW) -- Officials say a Racine man is recovering from his injuries after being accidentally shot in Easton Township.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to the 2900 block of 11th Drive on Saturday around noon to the report of a person being shot by a stray bullet.
Authorities say a 56-year-old man was working outside on his seasonal property when his was hit by bullet. Deputies say a nearby property had been target practicing.
Officials say the victim was not critically hurt. He was taken to Moundview Memorial by ambulance, and later flown by helicopter to a Madison hospital where he's listed in stable condition.
Officials say the incident remains under investigation.
