
WAUKESHA (WKOW) -- Police officers in a community near Milwaukee exchanged gunfire with a man after a domestic violence incident.
Police in Waukesha say officers were meeting with a 75-year-old woman inside a condo unit when a 76-year-old man appeared and fired a rifle at officers.
The officers returned fire.
No one was hit.
Officers took the woman from the condo and took the man into custody.
One officer was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
The shooting happened just miles from Azana Salon and Spa in Brookfield, where a gunman killed three women on Sunday before killing himself.

WAUKESHA (WKOW) -- Just days after a mass shooting in the Milwaukee suburb of Brookfield, officers are investigating another possible shooting in the Milwaukee area.
According to our Milwaukee affiliate, WISN-TV, the Menomonee Falls Fire Department says there is an "active shooting scene" in Waukesha that may have officers involved.
The scene is centered at Guthrie Rd. and East Racine Ave. in Waukesha.
The Menomonee Falls Fire Department says injuries have been reported.
