SOUTHEASTERN WI (WKOW) -- The candidates for U.S. Senate hit the campaign trail on Saturday.
Republican Tommy Thompson spoke at a Tea Party rally in Racine Saturday afternoon and Democrat Tammy Baldwin stopped by an early voting event in Milwaukee.
Baldwin says she's happy with the way her debate with Thompson went Friday night.
"I felt incredibly pleased with the opportunity to draw the contrast that exists between my path for Wisconsin for jobs, for the economy, and Tommy Thompson's record on these issues," Baldwin says.
Thompson didn't take any questions from reporters, but seems confident just 10 days from the election.
"We're going to elect a new president, a new vice president, I'm going to become the next U.S. Senator of yours, and we are going to take the country back and build America," says Thompson.
