No significant problems at Freakfest 2012

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department says there were no significant problems reported during Freakfest 2012.

More than 33,000 people attended the event. As of 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, law enforcement made 36 arrests. They were for underage drinking or having an open alcohol container on the street.

Of the 36 arrests, four people were taken to jail and the others were cited and released. There were 300 law enforcement personnel at the event.

The Madison Police Department would like to thank participants for helping keep Freakfest 2012 a safe event.
