MOUNT HOREB (WKOW) -- A suspect remains in the Dane County Jail Sunday morning after failing to stop for police officers during a traffic stop.

The suspect is being charged with a 2nd OWI offense after a breath test showed a blood alcohol level of nearly four times the legal limit.

About 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, police initiated a traffic stop in Mount Horeb after a car was found hitting several parked cars and operating left of the center line.

According to the Mount Horeb Police Department, the driver of the vehicle, 54-year-old, Janet Ekenberg, was taken into custody.

The pursuit ended on the 1100 block of Perry Center Road.
