Fire destroys Dane County home

DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- A Dane County home is destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon.

Officials say around 4:15 p.m., a neighbor reported seeing smoke and flames coming out of the home on Church Street in Pleasant Springs.

When firefighters arrived on scene, it had spread throughout the house.

No one was home at the time. Officials are investigating what cause the fire.

DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Fire crews are on scene at a house fire in the town of Pleasant Springs.

According to the Dane County Sheriff's Office, the home on Church Street may be a total loss.

Officials say there are no injuries, and no one was home at the time of the fire.
