WHITEWATER (WKOW) -- Forty-year-old Larry Shannon, of Whitewater, is being held in the Rock County jail on a number of charges stemming from a domestic situation Monday night.
Whitewater police were called to a home Monday afternoon for a report of a child being cut during a domestic disturbance involving Shannon and several family members.
Shannon left the scene with two kids before police got to the home.
Shortly after, Shannon's vehicle was seen by a Rock County deputy. A pursuit began with speeds in excess of 75 mph.
After successful use of a Pursuit Intervention Technique maneuver was utilized, the suspect was taken into custody at gunpoint and transported to the hospital for evaluation of his injuries.
Shannon faces a number of charges in Rock County, including reckless endangering safety, fleeing to elude, operating left of center, operating after suspension, and others.
In Walworth County, Shannon faces three counts of attempted first degree intentional homicide and three counts of false imprisonment.
He will appear in Rock County Intake Court on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.

Shortly after, the suspect was spotted in his car and that led to a police chase.
The man was taken into custody and the two children were taken to the hospital.
There's no word on the extent of their injuries.
Police are investigating.
