MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police arrested several children last Friday after they entered a west side home and caused significant damage.
Police say five boys and one girl, ranging in age from 9 to 13, went into a home on Sonora Court last week. They spray painted walls and doors, threw food on the hallway and kitchen floors and slid down the stairway on mattresses. The kids also tossed pictures that had been hanging on the walls.
Officials say some of the children also stole property from the home, including jewelry and candy.
Police say the homeowner was away at the time of the incident, and the kids were all released to their parents.
