WAUSAU (WKOW) -- Power has been restored to the 11,000 customers in central Wisconsin who lost service Tuesday evening.
Wisconsin Public Service Corp. says the widespread power interruption in the Wausau area last night was apparently caused by a substation failure.
The utility company doesn't know why the substation failed.
