Trial ordered in Madison murder case

MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend says he's not guilty.

Twenty-five-year-old Matthew O'Dell entered the plea Wednesday in Dane County court, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

O'Dell is accused of stabbing Craig O'Donnell 21 times at a home on Waxwing Lane on June 30.

The judge also determined O'Dell was competent to stand trial.
