LODI (WKOW) -- Just when they thought the school day was over, kids at Lodi Elementary got a Halloween surprise.

The staff performed its version of "This is Halloween" from the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Faculty members have been secretly practicing for two weeks in order to pull off choreographed moves. Then, they performed for the kids at Wednesday's assembly.
