MADISON (WKOW) -- November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Wisconsin joins the national movement to defeat lung cancer and learn more about the disease.

Dr. Toby Campbell from the UW Carbone Cancer Center joins Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend to discuss lung cancer in our state.

In the United States, there were 226,000 news cases of lung cancer and 160,000 deaths because of lung cancer in 2012.

Wisconsin had 3,990 new cases.
