HUNTLEY, Ill. (WKOW) -- A 25-year-old man suspected of making a fake bomb threat at a suburban Chicago high school this weekend has been arrested and taken into custody.
Derek Habbley of the community of Union is set to appear in court for a bond hearing on Monday morning in McHenry County.
Police say officers went to the parking lot of Huntley High School this weekend after someone called a cellular telephone company to report he had a bomb in his backpack at school. There they spotted Habbley, who matched the description of the man given by the caller.
They say Habbley admitted to making the threat and was taken into custody and booked into the jail.
