
DIXVILLE NOTCH (WKOW) -- Tuesday the nation heads to the polls to vote in 2012 general election. The New Hampshire villages of Dixville Notch and Hart's Location have maintained their tradition of heading to the polls at midnight on Election Day. If their votes are an indication of things to come, the presidential race looks to be very close.
In Dixville Notch, the vote is five votes apiece for President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. In Hart's Location, it took voters five minutes and forty two seconds to cast twenty three votes for Obama, and nine for Romney. One vote was cast for Libertarian Gary Johnson.
