WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- President Barack Obama is telling his supporters that they deserve credit for his re-election victory.

Obama tweeted 'We're all in this together. That's how we campaigned' to his Twitter followers Tuesday evening.

Republican Mitt Romney called President Barack Obama Tuesday evening to concede the presidential race.

Romney spoke to supporters in Boston saying,"I pray that the president will be successful in guiding our nation."

WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- ABC, CNN are projecting that President Barack Obama has been re-elected as President of the United States.

Obama tweeted 'We're all in this together. That's how we campaigned' to his Twitter followers Tuesday evening.

MADISON (WKOW) -- ABC News is projecting that President Barack Obama will win Wisconsin's 10 electoral votes.

Obama also won New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney won Alabama's nine electoral votes and captured the 38 electoral votes at stake in Texas. He also won in Louisiana, Mississippi, Kansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Arkansas and Wyoming.

Romney and his running mate both lost their home states to President Obama.
