MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Nearly 100 salons, spas and beauty schools in Wisconsin and other states will raise money for victims of the spa shooting last month.
Radcliffe Haughton shot seven women at the Azana Salon & Spa in Brookfield on October 21. Three of them died, including his estranged wife, Zina. Haughton killed himself at the spa.
Now 98 salons will all pitch in to help the victims and their families. One of the organizers who owns a salon near Azana says she felt helpless when she heard about the shooting.
The salons will donate five to 25 percent of sales Tuesday.
Salons in California, New York, New Jersey, Texas and Illinois are also participating.
They hope to raise at least $100,000.
