OWATONNA, MN (WKOW) -- Caterpillar will be closing the doors on its southern Minnesota plant early next year.
The company says work will be shifted to Wisconsin and Georgia. The plant currently employs about 100 workers.
Company officials say the forest products plant will "ramp down" production between now and the targeted closing date, and the plant will be sold.
