MADISON (WKOW) -- The WIAA girls state swimming and diving meet is underway at the UW Natatorium.
Division 2 took the pool on Friday.
It was a thrilling finish in the 100-yard butterfly, with McFarland's Rina Krupsky edging out Savanna Townsend of Sturgeon Bay by 0.3 seconds to take home the Div. 2 state title.
And she wasn't done yet. Krupsky is a distance swimmer, too, and finished runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle behind Shorewood's Ellen Stello.
