MADISON (WKOW) -- Sun Prairie faced Lake Geneva Badger in a Division-1 semifinal game on Friday night.
With the game tied at seven in the third quarter, Lake Geneva Badger's quarterback, Peter Krien, hit wide receiver Anothy Ashley for a 27-yard touchdown pass.
The touchdown put Badger up 13-7 after a missed extra point. But Sun Prairie would respond, scoring two more touchdowns to take a 21-13 lead.
With under a minute to play and Lake Geneva Badger in the redzone, Sun Prairie's Jeremiah Bradley would make the game-winning interception.
Sun Praire held on to win 21-13 and is headed to the state title game next week.
Another wild state semifinal game on Friday featured Potosi and Randolph in a Division-7 matchup.
With the game tied at 14 late in the third quarter, Randolph quarterback Jay Peters connected with Duke Vander Galien for one of his three touchdown receptions on the night. After a blocked extra point, Randolph took a 20-14 lead.
But Potosi would not go away. A Potosi safety cut Randolph's lead to 20-16 and with just 1:30 remaining, Potosi quarterback Tim Fritz hit Chase Kruser for the game-winning touchdwon pass.
Potosi would score once more in the final minute for a 30-20 victory and will advance to the state championship.
