OSHKOSH (WKOW) -- A Red Cross worker from Wisconsin just returned from ten days helping storm victims in New York and Washington, D.C.
Barbara Behling of Oshkosh says there are still a lot of people without homes who need basic necessities like food and blankets.
"The best way to help the American Red Cross and help the east coast really respond and recover is with a financial gift, because we can take those funds and be very efficient with your funds; just $10 will buy a hot meal and blanket," she said.
The Red Cross says there are more than 5,700 disaster responders assigned to help people in 10 eastern states and Washington, D.C.
