MADISON (WKOW) – The Department of Public Health continues to look for a dog that bit a man at the Brittingham dog park Saturday afternoon.
Authorities said the man was bitten by a dog around 3 p.m. on the 400 block of West Shore Drive. The report says the man was bitten when he tried to pry open the dog's mouth during an attack on his own dog.
The man told the Public Health Department that the dog was a black or dark brindle bull mastiff, or a similar breed, and possibly named Sully. The man described the owner as a white female in her mid 20's, average build and short with brown hair.
If anyone has any information regarding this incident or regarding the dog, call the police and fire dispatcher at 608-255-2345 and ask for the animal services officer.
