DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Authorities say one of the victims in Tuesday's crash on Highway 51 in the town of Dunn has died.
Officials say 19-year-old Charles Stabler, of Stoughton, died at UW Hospital as a result of his injuries.
The other victim, 48-year-old Lori Lampe, of Stoughton, suffered minor injuries.
Officials say Stabler turned into oncoming traffic off of Stoughton Road Tuesday morning.
DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle, injury crash that happened Tuesday morning in the town of Dunn.
Officials say emergency crews responded to Highway 51 and Halverson Road around 8:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Officials say 19-year-old Charles Stabler was driving south on Highway 51. While trying to turn left onto Halverson Road, Stabler failed to yield to northbound traffic and was hit by an oncoming pickup truck.
The Stoughton teen was ejected from his 2005 VW Jetta. He was airlifted to UW Hospital with serious injuries. Authorities do not believe he was wearing his seatbelt.
The driver of the pickup truck, 48-year-old Lori Lampe, of Stoughton, suffered minor injuries. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities say their investigation into this crash is ongoing.
