UPDATE: Abandoned house fire in Albion total loss

ALBION (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office says a two-flat apartment building caught on fire overnight, and the building is a total loss.
 
The fire was called in by a passerby. The two-flat apartment building was vacant. The fire does not appear to be suspicious.
 
It happened around midnight on Thursday on the 500 block of Albion Road.
 
Rock County responded to the call, and Stoughton and Cambridge Fire Departments assisted.
 
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
 
There were no injuries.

Officials say the call came in for a fully engulfed home, located on the 500 block of Albion Road, in Albion, around Midnight.

Rock County Fire is handling the fire, but did call in Stoughton and Cambridge for assistance.

At this time, crews are still working on controlling the fire.

The home was abandoned, and no one was injured.
