RIB MOUNTAIN (WKOW) -- Authorities in Marathon County say they tracked down the driver accused of hitting a child with his car and driving away.
A sheriff's lieutenant says a 7-year-old girl was hit shortly after school around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.
The lieutenant says the 16-year-old driver did not stop, but he was later found.
The girl was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers say she is going to be fine.
