GOP leaders vying for presidency

LAS VEGAS (WKOW)-- The race for 2016 has already begun.

Potential GOP presidential candidates are meeting with donors, operatives and party elders during the Republican Conference in Las Vegas, weighing possible White House bids.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal are urging the GOP to shift its message so it doesn't ignore independent and moderate voters.

Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and others are pitching their resumes to voters less than two weeks after Election Day.

Some question Florida Senator Marco Rubio's actions. He's heading to the politically important state of Iowa this weekend. He says he's going to help Iowa Governor Terry Branstad celebrate his birthday, but his visit fuels speculation the 2016 campaign has begun.
